In an earlier post I made an amateur anatomy on Greece’s tourism ads 2008. Now the GNTO has published in its website a larger gallery containing over 10 press-ready ads. Despite standing on what I wrote in that post, I can see a better work now on these ads, not quite because of graphical appeal (which some have, however), but because I like the I like the multi-faceted approach, the mult-layered image that is built through diversification: weekend city breaks (in Athens and Thessaloniki), countryside, culture, health and wellness, luxury, business meetings, nautical sports, seaside vacations, touring (by BTT or 4×4 car) and so on.
In any case, Some of the ads do really look more compelling.
